You will not get this at all if you aren’t a browncoat… whatevs. 1 in 10 of you will get it.
I find this hilarious because I do say gorram sometimes… I find that nobody notices.
Another new webcomic I’ve just found… it seems pretty solid as well. (Compare to xkcd, but obviously not on par with the juggernaut… bitch.)

Pokemon Nostalgia - Reinvention

VGCats is a very good regular webcomic, and it now has a brilliant subcomic series called, Super Effective, about the original pokemon series. (Red, Blue, Yellow) The nostalgia is overpowering, but the jokes depend on having played the game. Luckily, I’ve played every rendition of pokemon to various degrees, and I am still adamant that they are the best portable RPGs ever created.

I would have loved for them to release an RPG version for the consoles, but all the pokemon titles were like Stadium. Seriously, the original fans of pokemon are now the age where they can understand bigger ideas, and by all means continue to release the kiddie gameboy games, but take a risk and release a console pokemon RPG with a good story with real character development, and some good cell-shaded graphics. Hell, I’d love to see a Viewtiful Joe style graphic twist.

I’m not kidding Nintendo, get to work on this. Take the orginal story, with the original characters, (Ash, Brock, Misty) and give us some advanced RPG features. Let the world be a bit more open rather than a one lane story line, and for god sakes, have a half competent evil group. Hell, the last pokemon you were too pussy to even make the evil group evil, they were just misunderstood or some shit like that, WTF?!?

Anyway, I seem to have forgotten to talk about the comic. So far it seems to be following the story of the original series, and making jokes about it every step of the way. It’s ruddy brilliant. This particular comic, above, made me laugh the most because those random button combinations really did seem to work, but it WAS ALL IN YOUR HEAD. Crazy.

I’ve never seen this webcomic before, but searching back it looks like a pretty good one. This particular comic is beautiful.

Scott, if your life had a face, I would punch it. I would punch your life in the face.

Kim Pines (Scott Pilgrim)

I just went out an bought all four volumes of this graphic novel series, and it was everything I could have hoped. It’s hilarious, and the characters are amazingly well developed and infinitely interesting. They’re also making it into a movie.

Penny Arcade Steals?

Penny Arcade… or should I say, LONELY ISLAND BOYS. This comic is STOLEN from the minds of The Lonely Island Boys, comprised of Andy Samberg, Akiva Schaffer, and Jorma Taccone, who now do SNL’s Digital Shorts. Before they joined SNL, however they wrote sketches Channel 101 and funny music for the interwebs at large, which included a rap song that was the precursor to SNL hits like “Lazy Sunday” called “The Heist,” which is bloody brillaint.

They also did a song called, “I Think I Might Have Killed the President,” which is about a guy who gets hypnotised at a magic show by the ring of a bell, and a week later he goes on field trip to the white house and hears a bell, making him kill the president. I understand it’s sometimes very hard to discern from original ideas and stuff you’ve heard a while ago, but you should at least update and give credit where it’s due.

I’ve never really been a fan of PA, anyway. I’m more on the CAD side of the fence.
